Meet Bitnoori

I’m a product designer and a passionate problem-solver from South Korea.
With over 8 years of experience in IT and the financial field,
I have become a multi-disciplined designer. My experience ranges from UX/UI Design, Product Design, Marketing, and R&D.

As a designer I strongly believe that comprehensive knowledge and insight into business and technology are necessary for strategic thinking and the development of solutions to meet the needs of customers.

I work at Hot Disk as an Application Engineer and regional communicator which involved heavy technical support. Through working closely with customers and developers to improve usability and quality in the products, I found myself to excel in brainstorming and problem solving, and felt rewarded by the positive feedback from users. This experience made me certain that I want to pursue a career in Product Design.

Between 2014-2018, I was working as a cargo marketing manager at Incheon International Airport . Here, I developed marketing strategies based on air cargo statistics and analysed important data. Close cooperation with airlines, logistics companies, and ground handlers enabled me to understand how to communicate with different stakeholders effectively.

Aside from an academic background and wealth of work experience, I have acquired strong intellectual and interpersonal skills from various experiences abroad. Taking an internship in Sweden encouraged me to think flexibly and act positively so that I can now adapt myself to any circumstance. This internship project was carried out in conjunction with the following development work, involving Hot Disk AB internal staff, programmers and staff at Chalmers University of Technology.

At POSTECH, I studied Electronics and Electrical Engineering at POSTECH, BS and took a strong interest in fencing and weight trainning.
